Another cop encounter
So tonight we decide to venture back to Hwy100 because we want some Krispy Kreme donuts (their donuts are the best!). We can't go in, but the drive through is open, so my friend goes through with his jeep. We all sit in the lot (me and my friend with his jeep.... we had about 6 people in all) and eat our donuts. About a half hour later, as we are all talking about cars a cop pulls up.....
Of course I'm remembering my recent incident stated in my previous post.... and I'm thinking, great, we are gonna get tickets. The cop steps out and says "How's it going guys?". We are like, "good, we just bought some donuts and were talking while we ate". The cop says "ok, but you can't stay here too long.".........????? WTF???
This cop is way different than the last. He comes over to talk to us, and just is staring at my car. He's like "wow, this is a gorgeous car". He asked who's car it was, and I said mine. He gave some more compliments and then asked to see the engine. I opened it up and spouted the numbers and hp and 1/4 mile times, etc. He just was floored. He thought it was great and asked how I can afford it. (two jobs, one in computer technology... lol) He said good for me and then he sat there and talked with us for like 10 minutes.
I even told him about the incident last weekend, and he said what that cop did was wrong. He said if an employee wants people to get a ticket, they can't do anything. But I told him how the cop talked him back into giving us a ticket. He said that was bullshit and he couldn't believe that guy did that.
Anyways, the cop was cool as hell and let us stay to finish talking and snacking. He gave compliments to my car, told us to be careful when we came up to cruise, and said to have a good night.
Not all cops are bad, and I had never said they were, but the one friday and the one tonight was simply night and day. I'm glad there are SOME good cops out there. This one is just fine in my book.

Yea, I can understand why the cop would want you to leave (loitering, parking after hours).
Anyways, same thing happened to me in my own neighborhood because my friend and I were eating jack-in-the-box in my car. Well, two cops come up, harrass me, accuse me for stealing the car, then searches it without asking. He also said I didn't have very good social skills because my major was Computer Science. Of course, I only got harrassed, not my white friend. He actually got praised for absolutely nothing.
I guess my hiphop music didn't help very much. I also guess I just looked like a gangster with my gap khakis pants, old navy sweater, armani glasses, and $15 ez-strider shoes.
Oh yea, did I mention that he committed assault towards me?
Anyways, glad to see that the cop you encountered today was more intelligent than others.
