Another SI
i'm gonna use glen's logic on this one. Buzz if you want to set up a race between RSX-S and my s2000, 0 - 100mph from a stop, roll, whatever and I will gladly wager $5,000, $10,000, hell $20,000. Find me a bone stock RSX-S driver that will accept this wager and I will pay for all trip expenses if I lose. The fact is the S2000 is much much faster than the RSX-S which isn't even as fast as the previous gen ITR. What i'm trying to say is that it's certainly NOT all driver between an RSX and an s2000. An all driver comparison would be an RSX-S to a celica GTS, or an S2000 to a '99+ Mustang GT....certainly NOT s2000 vs. rsx-s. The all driver comparison holds true on the track or auto-x but then again it would hold true between an RSX-S and a 911 given a large discrepancy of driving skill so that is a moot comparison.
uh, these two threads do nothing to support your point buzz-hogg, no offense intended. the first one indicated very clearly that the S driver was not much of a driver and the second, peterpan could not PULL AS HARD as he would have liked. so....
1. a very skilled driver (from what it seems) in a modded rsx-s beat a non-skilled driver in an S. no big surprise here....i could beat my grandma in a 1000hp Supra if she drove like, well, a grandma!
2. an S driver couldn't pull away AS FAST as he thought he would on a rsx-s (which we know nothing about in respects to mods, etc)...but keep in mind, in MY definition of racing, my assumption is that he WALKED the rsx-s.
the first is a poor excuse for a race and the second does nothing to support your claims of an rsx-s being able to hand the S its *ss.
btw, i raced a modded rsx (not rsx-s unfortunately), with my TOP DOWN, from a roll (60mph about) until about 120mph. i pulled on him SOOOOOO HARD, i really didn't think he was racing me, except for the fact that his engine was screaming when we both downshifted AND he did the ricer flyby!!!!
although it was not a rsx-s, i pulled on him SO hard that i doubt the S version would have done that much better (stock vs stock of course....anything heavily modded can be fast).
rsx=run by you....rsx-s=jog by you. that's how i see it.
i got no problems saying a car is faster than mine....i wonder if this can be applicable to you?

My friend has a RSX-s and I let him borrow the s2000 when I feel like borrowing his sportbike. When asked if he wanted to race cars for money he simplied replied "ARE YOU CRAZY, YOU WOULD SMOKE ME!!!" I didn't disagree with him. PA isn't too far from where I live (cinci), if you are ever in the area, let me know, we can set up a quick friendly run and get it on video if you wish.
