AP1 Full Bolt Ons vs AP2 Full Bolt Ons
Did a few pulls with my friend in our Bolt On S2000's. He couldn't hear my horn over his loud ass exhaust.
(First run I hit the limiter in second gear)
His Car:
- 02 AP1 with exterior AP2 conversion and JDM AP1 headlights
- Level7 Intake
- Science Of Speed Big Bore Throttle Body
- Berk Technology Header
- J's Racing 70RR titanium header back
- Gutted trunk
No Dyno Numbers

- 05 AP2 with Mugen Hardtop (2986lbs with driver)
- AEM V2 Cold Air Intake

Man the ap1 pulls pretty hard on your car. When i raced my boys ap1 in my ap2 i pulled on him as hard as the black ap1 did on you. And i was completely stock and he had intake and exhaust. Now that i have flashpro and tuned im definitely faster. I pulled on a 2010 civic si very easily just the other day. Maybe he has different gearing? You shouldnt be losing that bad especially with similar mods

how many pounds do you think he lost by gutting the trunk? is your 70rs a single or dual? the piping diameter of the level 7 intake is bigger than the v2 and its stepped in the optimal place which probably makes more power especially paired to a bigger throttle body. are both of your intake manifolds matched to the intake bore diameter?

I don't think has gears because in 3rd gear at 60mph he said he's at like 4.5K. Or something to where he says it's too low to go from 3rd at 60mph. Which I thought was odd. But I haven't driven an ap1 in a while to test the theory.
The first 60 roll he went from 2nd gear and had to shift immediately.
