Default ap1 s2000 vs exige s

I was leaving the gas station and on my way to school and i pull up behind a exige s. I have no idea what year it is but it look just like the new 2007 ones. (i think it was a exige s cause it had the same kit as it but idk)

The light turns green and hes driving normal. I get on it first and get on his tail and slow down.. He got the point and got on it second gear and started weaving in and out of traffic. I follow him and get back on his tail there was a turn commin up so we both were taking it easy.. we wereboth in 4th after the turn he was 2cars ahead of me and i am around 6500 rpm.. i wait for him to get on it and when he does i do the same. By the end of forth gear we were next to each other and i was pullin hard i shift to fifth and left of like 2 seconds after i shifted and had a car on him..

He was a cool guy he gave me and took a right at the next light.. Made my day

Hmm, interesting!

Seems that a lot of S2000's are hanging with or beating these cars... Impressive.

Are you stock?

If you are, then it wasn't the Exige S because that thing would have had put a hurting on you.

The new Exige S has a S/C motor putting out 220 hp and the car weighs nothing and traps at like 107 mph. If it was the regular Exige, then I would believe it.

If it was a normally aspirated Exige the outcome is reasonable. The Exige only has 190hp and bad aerodynamics for high speed running in a straightline (positive downforce). The Exige S is a whole other story. I think that thing would pull out a big gap on the S2000 even from a high speed roll.

i have aem v2 intake and berk test pipe... but i have beat many cars that have destroyed s2000s, my friend has a evo 8 with exhaust and i think hes boostin 22 or 23 psi and we stayed neck and neck.. and my other friend has a 02 rsx type s i/h/e/k-pro tuned and i beat him by half a car and they all have no problem beating s2000s.

But idk it might of been a exige non type s i really didnt get a good look at it... But also doesnt power to weight not matter at all on top gears??

Weight/HP is very important anywhere and the Exige S tops us off.

Exige S: 9.5 lbs/HP

S2000: With my mods (~250 hp) and weight (2849 with me in the car) = 11.4 lbs/HP

The S doesn't stand a chance... lol.
