Type-R Intergra with 195hp clocked 14.8et at best stock & GTS Celica @ 180hp clocked 14.66et. The Civic SI is like 197hp & mid 14s @ BEST. These cars a all the same & probably would get handled by an XRS. Its like someone braggin a S2000 hit 13.66et while the rest of the world is in 14s & 15s. Get real people just cause one car can do it don't mean your grocery getter can do it. No harm intented but lets get with reality...I'm not shakin in my boots when I pull up to any of the above cars. BOOYAH!

I has both cars. an 01 s2k and an 08 si.

At the track, the si was faster with a 2.3 60 ft than my s2k was with a 2.1 60 ft.

It's all because it has torque from 4k-6k area where my s2k doesn't has any

Looking at this video, you shoulda put your top up

and for the people commenting about it being a good run considering he's modded? These si's run high 14's AT BEST when stock. If you don't mod em, they ain't going anywhere.
wouldnt that make the s2k faster?

he's lying, or that is one REALLY high reading dyno..
with 230 whp on a Si he would smoke you easily.

with the top up, you would have won for 100%, take his passenger out & make it 1v1 and i guarantee you will pull. at speeds under 55~60mph it doesn't come into effect THAT much.. but at speeds of 60+ it slows your car dramatically.

i have no clue why you guys think si's with bolt-ons are slower than s2k's...

My buddy's most recent trip to the track:

my buddy dyno'd 230 at the wheels and 169 torque. He ran a 13.77 @ 102.5 on street tires.

230 is not common, more common is 210-220

This would be a great debate between a XRS, Celica, Civic or Integra Type-R. They all seem to run the same 1/4 times with good mods & tune.
