Was driving home the other night from work and a kid with a black Camaro RS was driving around me, guess he was excited that daddy bought him a new car for graduation. He pulled beside me at a light and wanted to go I guess. My car is only equipped with Tanabe medallion exhaust and a Comptech CAI. We took off and he destroyed me off the line so I got eager and 9ked through every gear. I got to 3rd and slowly started to creep up to him. When I threw it into 4th and started passing him. I was on shock because even though my S is not heavily modded that it was still able to pass a new Camaro. My guess is that the Camaro was an automatic because I never saw the front end dip down between gears. This was also the first I have had a good street encounter since I've owned my car. When I got home I looked up the specs for the new Camaro RS. It makes sense to me now because the Camaro is extremely heavy, quarter mile in 14.5 seconds and a not so impressive 0-60 time. Guess this teenage kid will have to learn what to mess around with next time. Lol

 

RS's are the 6'ers, right? Probably a slushbox too. Good kill on the kid

Yea I was really surprised by the outcome

 

i raced one from 60-90 - stayed right next to him the whole time, i was very suprised, i guess they arent as fast as i thought. all the hype about a 300hp v6 isnt what i expected
