how am I crying? if anything I'm laughing at people like you that apparently feel the need to repeatedly justify their purchase, to a bunch of people they dont know on the internet no less. my car is much quicker than either AP1 or AP2. So why would I care which is faster stock? My car hasnt been stock for like 2yrs now.

How about you get off your AP2 high horse for just a moment and think before you reply?

because when you use radials, more than likely your 60ft will drop .1 or .2...this will also lower your trap...

 

if youre talking to me, my 60 was a 2.2. i have some traction issues in first when i lanuch.

 

and btw, if you're going to waste s2ki's bandwidth trolling ap1 vs ap2 threads all day, you could at least pony up for a membership.

 

I used to think he was joking, but I soon realized that he really is just that stupid. I guess he seriously thinks that AP2's always dyno 10whp higher than AP1's, and that that small amount actually makes a difference considering the weight added through the years. Let's also consider the gearing differences and then look at the list of the fastest stock S2k e.t.'s.

I won't say that one is better than the other because the only real differences are the appearance and driving feel, both of which are subjective. No, one is not faster than the other, but there's always going to be someone that feels a need to attempt to boost their ego.

 

I agree with ya Spartikus, and like I said, I dont really care which is quicker. What I do know however, is that both of them have yet to break the 13.5 barrier in stock form. If the difference between the two cars was anything other than negligible, I think we'd have seen that happen by now.

Anyhow, my only issue is when people come in here and start trumpeting every chance they get that their AP2 is superior to the AP1 or vice versa. Stuff like that is counterproductive to the community and just plain not cool imo.
