All you'd need to do is lean on a 1ft. lever. Now try doing it at 9krpm.

No spartikus, i really am not joking. I stand to believe that stock for stock, from a dig, AP2 takes the AP1 hands down. Sorry seen it too many times first hand, and being an owner of an AP2 myself. I've put that to the test as well, thats why i say AP1 have good top end, cause one started to pull alittle closer during 4th 5th and 6th gear. Of course the race ended by 4th gear. But neither of us let off, guess he was persistent? IDK.

It really depends who you talk to, or race aginst IMO..We've been over this how many times....
When I had CAI, I ran a buddies AP2 that had the same CAI, and a single side outlet exhaust...1st gear roll both out of VTEC..His car would centimeter ahead with no tec. His VTEC came on before mine did to, and for a split second I thought I was toast..But half a sec. later I got into my powerband..He had a bit of momentum in 1st and through 2nd, but by middle of 3rd gear I was already slowly catching and passing him, and ended up about 1 full car ahead by the end of 4th. The guy is a friend of mine, and I know he is a good driver, sooo...Just to me it clearly showed that the AP1 would pull on an AP2 as speed's increased. But who knows honestly..No one! Whoever owns an AP1 will say AP1, and the same goes for the AP2. Although, I will say...I'll take 9200 RPM's over 9 ft lbs. of torque anyday!! But to each there own.

AP2 guys just sometimes have to feel like the car is better in some way. I'd say they are very identical, but one provides a more engaging and fun experience. Whether fun and engaging is 9lb-ft of torque and a "safer" suspension is up to you. Just pick one and love it without trying to pretend it's better than a nearly identical version.
