Sorry guys, nothing too exciting here. Just posting this hoping to find out what the ap2 had under the hood. I was traveling on the 405 N in LA when I approached a black ap2 with a K&N sticker on his rear bumper and chinese characters on the side of his car. I antagonized him and got him to race/not really race with me. He looked stock but he pulled on me pretty hard. The race was from about 80-125 or so. Just wondering if he was stock or not. If he was, then damn ap2 is a lot faster than ap1.

haahh alright. well i wasnt sure. he looked stock. nobody get offended, i love AP1's. it's my preference for sure

 

He might of had gears which is the best bang for buck mod you could get.

 

Doubt he had gears=). When i had my ap1, i was convinced that it was pretty equal/driver's race, but now that i have an ap2, i have no problem pulling on the cars i was pretty close to with my ap1. I also don't think my ap1 would baseline dyno at 225 rwp with cold air/test pipe. They both pull hard, but 2.2 def feels faster, espec with the driver mod. If you are a fast shifter like myself- One will benefit from the shorter gears in the 2.2 as well....

But for Track running i prefer AP1, if it was stock compare to stock.

 

I'm also convinced that AP2 06+ is faster.

 

hm he had to have had gears. well or just a better driver who knows. fun yet stupid though.
