I remember Dave Coleman of SportCompact Car saying that the 2zz was a pain to make power with bolt ons....And that he would pull it of the Elise..

The elise makes a little more power from the factory, so it's a little bit different. However, I still don't think that's a good statement. How does this intake only dyno make you feel about what he says?

Anyone who remembers back in the day Scc had a Project Gt-S....It was a 2000 with the 8300 redline...They did get a 14.7@95.5 in the quarter....I have the issue...

The Corolla might have been under rated...They did give sacrifice 10 HP for a few lb ft of torque.I was thinking of getting a Gt-S..They are holding their value extremely well..I saw what the 2zz can do..Probably shitty drivers or a great XRS driver..Come on he's pulling on an EVO X?And a K20 with alleged I/h/e and Hondata?

You're using extremely old data. Like most things, car modding evolves. Just like back in 2000-2001 everyone thought the S2000 gained 3 HP from intake/exhaust.

Here's a 2000 GTS with just an Apexi PowerFC/No Muffler/Intake:

IIRC, Carlsbad was a slow track when it was open. Convinced yet?

wellll.... even my buddie before he went and bought a SRT-4 had a 2000 GTS, and w/ just an Injen intake, no passenger seat/back bench, he ran a 14.5@96 w/ 2.1sec 60's...just an intake...he later did a few more things and ran mid 13's...

I saw that Greddy makes a surcharges for the Gt-S....If I ever got out of the Honda game(too much theft or worrying about it).....I would def get a Gt-S....They still don't looked dated, especially with the TrD body kit/wing...:.

Also keep in mind that FWD layout has less drivetrain loss than a RWD layout
