ap1 vs non turbo solstice
So I pull up to a gas station lastnight to get some smokes before I went out. As I'm pull up I see a solstice and decided to park next to it. I gave it a little walk around, and noticed it was just a non turbo version. So I walk in to get in line and the guy in front of me starts talking to me.
him- I like your car S2000's are nice, not as fast as my turbo solstice next to it.
me - thats a turbo? Where's the dual exhaust and fog lights?
him- Oh i had pontiac put on the base front bumper and change the exhaust so I look like a sleeper. Plus I shaved the turbo badge.
me- oh cool (I was laughing inside)
So I get my smokes and go to my car and he hadn't driven away yet. I pull out of the parking lot and he follows me out. I get on the freeway and I just start cruising at 65 he pulls next to me and starts reving and trying to jump to try and get me to run. After about a minute of this I just get tired of him and drop it into third. By the time I hit 4th I had 2 cars on him. At about 120 I just slowed down because he was about 6 or 7 cars back. He flys by and I just laugh. I got to downtown Corpus Christi and what do you know the guy is driving around and finds me.
Him- I need to take my car in to get looked at. I don't think my turbo is working
Me- Thats because you don't have one.
I just walked off laughing.

I seem to run into them alot(mostly civic drivers), claim NA 12sec 1/4 mile times and then cant even beat my wifes stock v6 accord? WTF?

Both the new 270hp Altima Coupe and the 268hp Accord Coupe are still slower in the 0-60mph and 1/4mile.
