AP1 vs. Older model 911 convert
My car: black AP1, only engine mods are: mishimoto radiator(lol), Test Pipe, KN intake
Porsche: Older model, possibly air-cooled version, not too sure, but it was a silver convertible.
Location:
from a Highway to a freeway transition (35mph to 60mph speed limit change)
Setup:
I caught the red light from the highway to freeway transition, I was on the left lane, porsche was behind me.
I was babying my car, was in 3rd around 40mph when I saw her pull out from behind me and gun it. they got the jump but she was possibly 2 cars back. I instantly downed it to 2nd gear, right around vtec range. I saw her pulling me when I got onto it. Right after I floor it, the porsche instantly stops gaining on me, I top out 2nd, three blinky lights, shift to third, (not even powershifting at this point since I'm still ahead), Top out third, then back off.
By the end of the race I was 3-4 cars ahead of it. Now I dont know if thats possible or not, but dont call
on it...what happened happened. I'm not sure if the porsche stopped trying after a while, but it was keeping up with me until the top of 3rd, when I hit the brakes, it slowed down as well.
Now the kicker:
I wait for the porsche to pull up next to me, so I can give it a peace sign... a pretty MILF-y 35year old blonde lady pulls up next to me, gives me the "shaka" (we're in hawaii...its the thumb and pinky wave if you didnt know this..) and smiles at me...

I am not saying I KNOW she got on it, but she was going pretty fast to NOT be on the throttle if she kept up from 35-100~ish. (Friend in car told me I hit 103).
the funny thing is, this is the ONLY porsche that has ever raced me/called me out/whatever. Usually the older guys driving it are babying it everywhere so I was very impressed.

but If I ever see the porsche again, you can bet I'd ask her for a pic
