so the other day a buddy of just got a new 2011 wrx and i thought why not lets have a go from a 30 mph roll. ive never raced a 2011 but i raced older years and have left them in the dust but i couldnt shake the 2011 and he even beat me a couple times im wondering if thats right because we are both confused.

 

base model or sti? (assuming base model)...base models have 265hp and 244 ft/lbs of torque...very competitive in a straight line

 

He said WRX bro. Most of my buddies in car club has awd evos and subbies. I always wanted to race a newer stage1 Wrx to see if I can beat them. Now I'm probably going to test it out lol.

 

Sounds about right . From a dig with a good launch , he will spank you pretty good .

 

Those cars can run mid to low 13's easily . Not so in a S2k .

 

I just traded in my DD '11 WRX for an Evo. From a dig the WRX had a lot of power, but through the corners you should be able to pull ahead (stock). The highway I'm not sure about, I never raced it against my s2k.

 

My son has a '13 WRX with a few mods....it will definatly spank my stock 02 S.

Stock it's close. Couple mods to wrx and there's no shot for the s2k.

 

Ya I've been wanting to run a stock or mildly modded wrx/sti for a while now but still haven't had a chance unfortunately

 

My buddy raced a 2012 Wrx stock vs his stock ap1 01 s2k. Beat him on a roll. No dig race tho
