AP2 vs Charger
so i was driving home from work and a Dodge Charger with the Hemi slowed down to meet me.
from a dig he took me by a few cars (first launch i spun to much it was cold.) (second was pretty legit. 5k launch steady all the way)
from a roll. at about 4k-5k in first. i took him instantly and by the time i hit 3rd i was cars ahead.
overall im satisfied i was able to defend my honor in some way. sure wish he had torque though huh? haha

LOL, niceness. I had a similar encounter with a charger r/t from a roll and pulled just slightly by a couple cars and that was more than likely becuase I had a jump. S2000's and r/t's are supposed to be pretty close in regards to straight line performance
. Guy was being a real jerk, holding me up just to hold me up. As soon as the road opened up to two lanes he knew I was going to be at WOT so he gunned it right before I pulled up to him. I still got a little jump and got to pull slightly. 340 ponies......gobs of torque...... Too much pudginess.....
Had something with a juiced R/T magnum a couple of months ago. I was ahead about 1 car or so and all of a sudden he blasted past me at 100 and put busses on me. He claimed he only had bolt ons. Guy was a jerk.
The best part was after the race, his girlfriend(redneck) yelled to me, "Its got a Hemi!!!"

Yea, that pudginess is difficult to over come....
I don't men to magazine race here, but just to put it into perspective the times in 0-60 and 1/4 mile for the r/t are 6.2 and 14.4. So with a jump you could pull ahead and keep a lead, maybe even pull slightly. The only reason I got a lead was because I got a jump, he couldn't overcome that.
