i was cruising home with a buddy of my a couple nights ago when i pulled up next to a 2.0t he was with his gf kept trying to look at me to race i didnt want to i have a sprained ankle and im still driving so he guns it under a bridge so do i and pass him he follows and we line up again and i just decided what the hell lets race so the light turns green he launch i slowly let of the clutch rather not lose the dif hes ahead for a bit and then i just zoom past like nothing his gf had to take a double take cause she was suprised i passed him with ease then he thumbs uped me an kept going. good guy genesis. and who thinks i could take a 3.8 stock?

I raced a v6 genesis from a stoplight once. He got the jump due to torque, but he couldn't pull away. From a roll, I believe I would've been at least neck and neck with him. And that's coming from a mostly stock ap1.

 

I don't think we (as stock S's) could pull on a hustle car like the 3.8 Gen on a dig. I think we may be able to keep up on a roll in VTEC range. Next time you see a 3.8 give it a go. I'll try to do so as well, but 3.8's are unusually hard to find in my area. Most people get the base model in my area.

Also, it's hard for me to tell Gen 2.0t's apart. They started with 210 hp and then jump to ~270 hp. Do you know which one you raced?
