Default AP2 vs. new Civic SI

So me and the wife were on our way to eat sushi on Friday night. We were on our way to Johnson City and there was some light race traffic from the Bristol race starting to come in. I get behind this truck pokin along on the four lane. I geared down to fourth and passed. I noticed a new SI gaining on me. They pull up right on my arse. Luckily there was a stop light ahead. I got over and allowed them to pull beside me at the light. I look over and it was some chick. So the light turns green and we both pull out partial throttle when all of sudden she guns it and pulls about a half a car before I puch it. By the end of firts I had a half a car. I slammed second and spun the tires a little (road was damp from a previous rain) as I pulled another car. I hit third and just kept walkin away. I love it!!

I raced one a while back. Both our cars were stock and I just walked away. They dont have a chance unless modded.

Be careful racing when it's wet!

Nice Kill.

It was all four lane in a straight line. I let off after third. I couldn't let her smoke me.

I own both. The Si is pretty quick but stock for stock an S will mudstomp an Si all day.

I know Hytech has kit for the K series motors with a header, cams, exhaust and Hondata reflash that is supposed to put down 250-60. Now that would be an insane little Si.

I'll tell you what is really impressive about the Si...the handling. I can take off and on ramps with nearly the same speed and craziness as my S. Not bad for a FWD car. Very composed too. I can see how the Type-R Civic outdoes the S2000 at Tsukuba.

I have mad props for those little things, if I could afford another car payment that would be my daily.
