AP2 VS RX7
I used to own a 2nd Gen RX7 turbo. If that car was stock turbo, then the s2000 should beat it. If it was slightly modified.. then, the s2000 is probably even. If it's moderately modified... then the RX7 would win...
Awhile ago I had on my 7: a 3" straight exhaust with Apexi N1, and an intake. Just with this mod, i was able to keep up with an s2k. There after, I upgraded my fuel pump, added VBC and an F-Con... I was able to pull from the s2k.
Anyhow, I got rid of the 7 and got me a S2K! =)

LOL. I noticed your avatar states, "no rotory"! =)
I have to give it props to Wankel's rotary design. The momentum for the rotary in one direction is a better concept then a piston in two directions using a connecting rod to crank the crankshaft. Less things to move conceptially is better.
Needless to say, I had to add my 2 cent in since I did own a 7 before, and loved that car.
Bottom line. I chose the S2k over the RX8. S2k is just overall better.

yeah but the maintenance is SUCH a pain in the butt......and the reliability is close to zip.
If they were just better in reliability, i'm sure those cars would still be produced..
But that Rx7 in that Tokyo drift was an Awesome looking ride!!!
