okay so i was ridding in my buddies ap2 and at the light there was an Rx8 reving on us pretty hard but we were behind a silver gti vw. it had a nice polished exhaust (apexi ws by the looks of it) i looked at my buddy and was like "lets kill this rx8. he was like "what about this gti?" so i just looked at him and was like "just get around him and pull next to the rx8, its only a vw." the light turned green and the rx8 took off as well as the gti and us in tow. Holy Shit! the gti pulled HARD! by the time we were shifting into 4th the gti pulled at a minimum of 12 cars on us! we both looked at each other in amazement. a couple lights up we pulled up and gave the thumbs up. we could see that he had a huge front mount as well. the next day we saw him at an autozone and had to ask him how much power he was putting down. he told us that he was working some issues out but just dynoed at 530ish whp!!!!!

lesson learned: never assume that a vw is slow i still cannot believe how fast he was. what an incredible car!

That GTI must of had slicks or something, my friends 250 whp GTI does not even get traction till 3rd.
