I used to have a turbo single cam in my 98 hatchback. fastest I hit was a 14.1(street tires) and I was faster then the b16 swapped hatches, beat some by 5-7 tenths.

Just some info to give you a gauge of where he may be in terms of hp or 1/4mile times.

At least he will have a little more respect for your car now if nothing else. He still may be a great driver....but he didn't have much of a car to work with.

That is the thing with the young people around here. They probably think that car is sooooo fast. As I said in a previous post in this thread, someone told me that he is a great driver....which he may very well be....but it did him no good against me...and I am not the greatest driver. Or at least when it comes to racing.

One thing is for sure, my car is definitely superior to his. If he had forced induction, I think I would be in for a real battle.

Talked to a friend of mine tonight who I know fairly well, or at least I can trust his info.

Apparently this Civic has a B18C1 (GS-R), wired for nitrous bus does not have a bottle yet ....and to boot is going around saying that he beat me, and he has it on tape!!!!

He did seem to want to race a second time, but by the time I realized he was going again his rear bumper was even with my front bumper...too little too late for me. Focking douche bag... I guess if he wants to tell lies, thats fine....he is the one in the Civic, I have the S2000.

However, despite this I will hunt this bitch down and we will settle it once and for all....on the road course at Heartland Park where you separate the men from the boys.

nice kill, just do it again, be careful tho, some hatches can be quite nasty....there is a red one here that I wouldn't want to mess with.

I had a similar encounter with a friend of mine. He has a EG Hatch with a US SPEC B18C5 Type R motor. We went from a roll four times, and I pulled about 3-4 cars on him. The first run from 70 I just floored it just to see how quick it is, and that sh!t took off. Then the next foor races I drove seriously and got him all four times. He has I/H/E, Civic R Cams Full Ignition and other stuff, it is pretty modded. The guy is really cool though. I have Apexi Exhaust, Berk Testpipe, Spoon Snorkel, Js header, and a few other things.. =)

Anyways, from a roll it Civic with swaps should be pretty easy to beat, but off the line, if you dont know how to launch properly, then bye bye.

Like SojuSoulja said, here in Cali a hatch with a swap come a dime a dozen. Here in San Diego, there is a ton with crazy mods. Ive seen them all from D15, D16, ZC SOHC, ZC DOHC, B16A-B, B17, B18A-C, H22, H23 , B20 and even now the K20 motors! Man all of these cars are very quick. ANd alot of them are driven very well. Mad respect for them cars. It is not an easy win all the time. I personally just dont race them out of the blue, cuz almost all of them here in San Diego that wants a race, surely has something done to them.

Good Kill!
