Well; we (Kristy and I) were on our way home and being irritated by two guys in an STR-4. The two ricers were holding up three fingers and saying stage 3. Anyway; ignoring them did not make them go away. So I'm in second around 5500 rpm's and he decides to go (I hear his turbo spooling up) I go as well. I pulled about a car and a half by the end of third before traffic held us up. This takes place two more times with the same outcome. We end up at a light with traffic in front of us and the two guys asked if I was SC or turbo. I said neither; they were amazed I was all motor and they did not bother us anymore.

It just annoyed me when they seemed to think their car was the fastest thing on the planet; but after the beat-down they went away.

 

i had a guy in a v6 mustang roll up to me a stop light and point and laugh. after 3rd i couldnt tell which set of headlights was his behind me. no respect!

 

Well Srt-4 is a fast car and they pull hard in 3erd gear, but still no match for a s2k. nice kill. What mods u got?

that happens to me all the time!! what is with V6 stang drivers???? I lump lower end BMW drivers in with them too... oh, you go on with your bad 325/328/330

 

stock for stock, in a straight line, yeah they are.

 

If 2-3 cars back is a match... then yeah

 

 

i have observed stock srt-4s hitting 13.7-9ish in the 1/4 and trap at 100-102. i'd say thats a match for an s2000. i guess people just run into not-so-skilled drivers on the street.
