actually i just realized something.

to my knowledge, the stage 3 package isn't even available to the public yet. so this moron obviously wasn't saying he had a stage 3, or if he was, he was probably full of shit.

however, once available, the stage 3 kit should put the SRT4 into the mid/low 12's range.

preliminary testing has shown the SRT4 stage 3 making about 310whp and torque. in high octane mode, that jumps to around 355whp and torque. however, with the stage 3 package on a brand new srt4, you're looking at about a $30,000 price tag.

so your looking at (depends on how much you paid for the SRT-4) mine was $19,995+ $3600= around $23,600 total

interesting, considering mopar's website says the stage 3 kit is unavailable (coming soon), and in fact, has a TBD price. i guess mopar must just never update their website.

30000 is way to much to spend on a neon...you can get something so much nicer for 30000...srt's are becoming such a trend lately its sick

From what I found on SRTforums the Stage 3 was released late October early November of 2004 .... so that means it has been out for over a year....
The website i showed you was just ONE place you can order them from .... never said they were the first people to sell them!!!

i was referring to the mopar stage 3 kit, which seems to me, could not have been released any earlier than May of 2005, when that magazine wrote that they borrow one of the test model stage 3 SRT4's, and were the first to do so at the time of that writing, in may of 2005, about 7 months ago.

so are there kits out there other than the mopar stage 3 kit? in other words, kits made by other companies?

 

yes im talking about MOPAR STAGE 3 kit.... not any other aftermarket kit
