Default best triple adjustable shocks

Hey guys. Ive heard lots of conflicting things about shocks, this being better than that because of this and that. Well now id like to get everyones opinions on which is truly the best shock, money aside, in terms of reliability, ease of use, tunability, sourcing rebuilds, flexibility, etc.

thanx!

Them too. The brand matters much less than who built them.

so who are you? why do you need 3way adjustables? Auto-x? Track?

well, i had an RX-7 before i got my S2000. I have jics on there, and then my good friend bought some penske triples for his RX-7, at first they felt no better/worse than my coilovers, but as i started to play with them and tune them to the car and my friends driving style, they blew me away. so now i think if i get anything short of a triple adjustable, i wont be happy with the performance and flexibility of the shocks. I plan to do track driving, but we did mostly canyon driving on my friends penskes (quite overkill isnt it? )

then stay stock, unless you're hard up to change for change sake.

the handling is great for stock, i can completely feel it, but the reaction and grip of the car is not, and if i went with single adjustables id prolly have to revalve them 50 times to find the exact settings i want

because more is always better. I assure you, any good shock wether it's single or tripple comes down to who built it. If you have to rebuild it 50 times you are using a shitty shock tuner.

Buy some ohlins they'll be plenty of shock for you.

and what happens if i want to go to a very smooth track where i can afford to stiffen up the high speed compression and compression for more sensativity and quicker turn in? i definately wouldnt want to carry that ride out onto the streets, id rattle my teeth out! haha

ive always heard triple adjustable shocks are *the* way to go if you want a street/track car, if not doubles are more cost effective and do the job just as good. i simply want them for the tunability aspect, and if i get more heavily into racing i dont want to have to buy shocks all over again.
