Default Best way to launch

new to the sight and new to the s2000. I just got my stock '04 couple of weeks ago. Seems really quick, but I'm having trouble getting a good start due to the nature of the hp at high rpm. How do you launch?

You can drop it at 7k if your tires can hold. Just don't do it too many times. I've only done it about 3-4 times total and all of those drops occured shortly after 700 miles. Usually, 6000 to 6500 is ideal. Oh yeah make sure that the break in period has elapsed.

I never go over 5k RPMs or under 4K RPMs. For me thats the best launch point so the clutch does not fall alseep on you at times.

ya i asked this question on this topic b4....i use to launch hard until i changed my diff fluid and clutch fluid it was all black which it wasn't suppose to be...ya don;t do it too many time since your differential is not made for hard launches and also very $$$ to fix...remember s2k is not for drag racing...take it to a windy track where its meant for...
