Was on the 10 heading into phoenix lastnight and noticed a G35 and an integra going at it, they both seemed pretty fast but the G35 was comming out ahead.

Probably 5 minutes after that, somehow, the G35 comes up from behind me and cuts me off then flashes his hazards and guns it. I accepted the taunt and chased his ass down, he was about 8 car lengths ahead from his ricer fly by but I went 6-5-4-3 and floored it, started to immediately reel him in at a pace that most likely made him regret the ricer taunt. Not going to post speeds, but needless to say that as soon as I got half a car ahead he slams the brakes and immediately gets off at the next exit in shame.

Damn lucky for us the cops were not around to witness this!

I think it's possible. G35's really aren't that impressive when they are boosted from what i've seen. In these vids the S2ks never were above 300 whp and are either staying door to door or putting a few solid cars on boosted G's. Add on kyushins extra 44+whp and i think it might be possible, who knows. To the OP, did you hear if the G was boosted or were you only judging by them racing, because a stock G can take out most integras unless they're swapped and that could also be what was goin on

Ya i read the thread. What i thought i was reading was that he (a CTSC S2k @ 344+whp) raced a supposedly boosted G35, or am i wrong here?

I was using the videos of the nitrous s2000's that were around 300whp vs boosted G35's to show how they were able to beat or stay with them even though they had less hp than kyushin has. It was just to point out that kyushins car with 44+whp more than the S2ks in the vids could maybe reel in a boosted g35 even after he was already going since the cars in the vids did so well against the boosted g35's with less power than him.

 

well yes an s2k with forced induction will beat a g35 with forced induction.

 

Im sure im over 344, that was just the last dyno without the SoS TB, CT Exhaust, rear diffuser, SoS heat exchanger weight reduction and afew other things. My IATs were pretty damn high that night too so im sure that took alittle from me.

meh not sure how to judge the distance really but I have raced a friends stock G35 and it doesnt hang anything like that one did.

I would have enjoyed it and even given a thumbs up like I normally do but the ricer fly by then cutting me off and giving me hazards warranted the ass beating he got...

 

Both of us boosted, I had to assume that judging from a friends G35 and the different runs we have done. Last time I went to socali he added a supercharger and he could hung right at what that asshat on the 10 did.
