Sorry but unless you both start off knowing you are going to race, you cant assume anything. Sure he did a ricer fly by, but who is to say he didn't let off after flying by you? If he was boosted, 8 cars is a long way to catch up to if he keept full throttle. It would be nice to see what a lined up race would have been. I race pleanty of ppl doing fly bys on me. its a totaly different story when u actually line up. As for your race against ur friend, unless he did a fly by on you and you punched it as he was 8 car lenghts ahead of you, you can't base his power on your friends. Every car is different and every driver is different. I have won and lost against the same car with different drivers. not by much but its interesting to see what different ppl can do with the same car. I dont doubt ur faster, hope u run into him again and really teach him a lesson.

Very possible and probably wasnt as many as 8 cars but given the speed we went up to he either chickened out or made it look that way by the rate at which I was reeling him in. I do agree with alot of what you say here, its hard to really tell but the 2 experiences are really all I have to go by. Hopefully we will meet again and have a run from a line or roll.

Awesome, hope to see more of your encounters. I run a few cars here and there but nothing great lol. Now that its warming up more around here, I hope to come across some good runs. I've been procrastinating upping my boost and installing my water/meth kit lol. I should have it done soon tho.

you have to be more specific, plus what kind of FI? a supercharger tends to be slower than a turbo. for the most part turbos will hit their peak hp a lot faster than superchargers will, especially certrifugal superchargers. Even comparing S2000's. A supercharged S making 300rwhp will loose to a turbocharged S making the same power. you cant just say one FI car will beat another FI car without knowing each ones power, weight, and form on FI.

Very true, turbos have that low end torque and damn near instant power from the punch. I have had my ass handed to me by a turbo S only making 300, from the dig he was outta there and I couldnt catch up

I love the roots supercharger sound too, plus on S2000s they do crazy things to the torque curve! like this:
