I had a CL Type S pull up to me on the highway last night. I went for it, and pulled on him pretty good. I slowed down and he didn't look over when passing, but I think his woman winked at me.

Type-S is governed to 147. I don't see how the S2000 could walk away from the Cl. I've driven the Cl and own the S2000, I think it would be a pretty even race. Just my 2 cents.

Even on the highway? I know off the line the S2000 will kill it, but what about from say 70?

I did race from about 70. It wasn't a slaughter, but definitely quite a few car lengths. I would think the TYPE-S would do better off the line, since it has more torque and doesn't require a good high rpm launch. My 2 cents.

The S2000 would walk the CL-S hard from freeway speeds up to whatever. The CL-S is a slow poke at 100mph +. I hear it's the gearing of 4th.

What would be cool to see is a modded CL-S (w/ headers, etc.) v. a stock S2000.

I beat a CL-S from a 20mph punch. I had a car and 1/2 on him before I let off. (not sure how fast I was going) They are pretty quick. I was surprised it did that well. Too bad that guy didn't post the video of it. This happened right after I beat that 5th gen prelude.
(see *** S2000 vs. Prelude*** video)

I would also like to see how fast the CL-S is with the Comptech header. I've seen the dyno of the header giving the CL-S 30 hp at the wheels...
