Default C5 ZO6

So tonight I found myself driving next to a ZO6 with one car infront of us. He goes to pass the car and I hop in behind the ZO6 so we could run in the open road up ahead. As soon as the zo6 got next to the car he punched it so I did too and immediately pulled to his back bumper and I had to get off the gas but then stabbed it again as soon as I was able to pull in the other lane . Anyways I pulled up to his rear quarter and thats where i stayed from 60 to 120 something. I was happy with that it was my first race with one.

How many pounds of boost? Where did you trap 111?

Damn! Must be loving the fast track. My vortech on stock boost would only trap a high of 107 at our crappy track. Waiting to see what it will do with the new numbers.

You must be banging the gears because that c5 z06 is capable of trapping 118 on the east coast.

2.08 I believe and I was running hankook rs-2's. I raced in the spring on a nice cold night. in the upper 40's lower 50's I believe and trapped at 112. I then changed my exhaust again removed the cat and added a v-afc 2 ran it on a 85 degree day and ran the 12.8 at 111. I just installed a new clutch and lightened flywheel so I dunno what I will be doing now. I am pretty happy with how it performs I need to get it on the dyno soon.

Nice, very respectable. Whats the average stock psi on the Vortech kit w/aftercooler? Is it typically 7psi?

No kidding, thats 2psi more then the Comptech Mmm. Did I read correctly that the Vortech adds a fifth injector or something to get the afr's rich enough? How does that work with the factory ecu?

Sorry to hijack OP

How can he be running 12.8 with just the stock vortech? Good driver mod? lol

That just seems really good, must of have a factory freak engine to begin with.
