c6 vs my CTSC s2000
Well as luck would have it i just had a run in with a new sweet looking black 437hp c6 tonight. I'm pretty stoked, don't get the opportunity often to play with one and was my real first drag since swapping in my f22 from my tragic issue with my previous f20. I am still refining my tune and haven't been on a dyno yet but i do know that i am somewhere between 350whp-400whp. I'm running a light weight shorter profile 17' tire size that gives me a equivalent rear end gearing of 4.30 for what ever its worth.
We took off from rolling 2nd through 4th gear. With him drafting behind me. I watched in my mirror as I pulled the spread between us, even more so as I gained speed in 4th gear, I just kept pulling and pulling, id say approx 10 cars by the time I shut down at 110 or so. The whole race didnt take more then several sec, but felt like minutes with the thrill and focus I had during the encounter. What a rush! It so happened that we ended up at a stop light at the end of the run and this dude and his girlfriend pulled up next to me, we exchanged thumbs up wile in a humbled voice he complimented me on the sound of my exhaust and i asked him if that was a new c6 already knowing it was, he replied in a yeah just a c6 kind of voice Vet guys think they own the roads

I do agree 10 cars on a C6 is not going to happen unless you are 500RWHP, but I seemed to be pretty even with one at 317RWHP, so at 350 I am sure he was able to pull
Yeah it was about 10 cars, hey if your clearly faster it doesn't take long to cover ground when your going from 40-110mph It was a walk progressing to a faster walk as we gained speed, I was on my way to pulling the gap further given more time and gears but double the speed limit was enough for me and for the vet to get the point Some of these guys with crazy 500whp+ turbo s2k's is just nutz man, I cant imagine trying to hold back that much car and temptation all the time, what a crazy amount of power for such a car. I commute 100miles a day in mine, probably wouldn't work.
