Regardless, that SLR is not stock. Even 53xrwhp in a C6Z equals 130+ trap.
dont you think itd be faster than that. Ranger trapped 128 in a bone stock C6Z. 530+whp should get you close to 135-140 traps.

It's not fair to use Ranger's times as he's probably the only person that can produce that time, plus he was on DRs. A stock C6Z driven by an average driver will proabably trap 123ish. I def. don't see a trap speed of 140 with only 530rwhp though, even with Ranger driving.

Yup, he'll tell you everything you need to know about getting a Vette down the 1/4 and much more.

stock slr my ass.

That was a cammed "otherwise fairly heavily modded" C6 Z06 and if a stock Z06 can stay in the ballpark of a stock SLR, the SLR wasn't even close to stock.

but it sounds like you didnt watch the vid. the Z had a cam and exhaust. that alone is worth 100whp or so. so say a stock Z makes 460rwhp+100rwhp=560rwhp easy. thats without tuning. with a tune, 580whp is easy. even then a 3100lbs 580whp Z should have no problem with a SLR. the vid showed those two crackers pumping 100oct into the SLR and who knows if it was reflashed or whatever. but a 3900lbs ("600hp" more like low 500's to the tire) VS. a 3100lbs 580whp vette is not much of a race.
your numbers are a little inflated

ah, sorry. im lusting after a C5 so bad rite now that i might have been a lil excited with my new "knowledge" about vettes.

im still in shock over how much power these LS1/6 can make NA. you can add 100whp just about without opening the motor. thats cool. i fought it for years, but its true. THERE IS NO REPLACEMENT FOR DISPLACEMENT.

I prefer the sound of the Z to the SLR in this video. SLR sounds like a drill winding up. I want thunder from down under. :-)
