Default Centimeters...man...centimeters!

Just linking this "street encounter" over here... I posted to my local club (since they'd be more familiar with the road)...but figured I'd post here too since I'm sure others would like to take a moment to vent about morons on the road...

good thing no paint was exchanged w1ngman.

However, when the dude put his blinker on, you could have just as easily slowed down to let him in. Problem solved. It's funny how sometimes, people see a blinker and they speed up and do all sorts of crazy things.

I'm not attacking you here, I'm guilty of speeding up when I see blinkers as well. For example, big 'ol trucks with their big 'ol tires and big 'ol treads that are spraying big 'ol chunks of rocks/mud all over the place.

Morons like this who come barreling down the freeway or whatever, cutting in and out of traffic. If see that is about to happen to me, I'd easily scoot forward and help save my front end from being battered with rocks/mud balls.

Point being, agreed - venting about morons on the road........

blue...

You are correct, and I too am guilty of that "scoot up" from time to time. One thing I'd forgotten to mention, however, was that I was already "moving up" along his passenger's side. I was *in motion* as it were, to pass him, when I noticed his turn signal as I got up along side (but at the rear of his side)...so I wanted to get on around him.

Again, though, sure...I coulda hit my brakes and let him move into my lane. <== Hmm...now do we wanna discuss "the-morons-that-move-into-your-lane-and-then-go-slow"???

Congrats on the narrow escape wingman. Sounds like you barely escaped being dry-holed by an obvious looser. Bet the cop took it all in even though he didn't acknowledge it.
