Climbing out of a ditch
So after a party I was heading back to home on the (for those familiar with the bay area) it was 280/ It was about 1:00 AM and the roads were really empty, so I was stretching my cars legs out. I was about to get off my normal exit and was going about 45 in the curve I lost the back end and hopped the small enbankment, ended up swerveing down a small long slope right in front of a Cal Trans management facility. I missed about 3-4 trees and didn't hit anything but small brush and bushes.
My car was about 45 degrees on a small 20 feet slope that got steeper in certain parts to about 60 degrees. Catching my breath I climed out of the slope, thanked G-d that I wasn't hurt called AAA and had them tow the car out of the slope!
The alignment was all jacked up and the tires were all full of tree gunk/mud! It took the the Honda folks 2 hours to get it aligned back to specs! I had new tires put on em too (the new S-03) and it's back in action -
The side got all scraped up so I got my insurance to do a fix on it.
The following week I read a magazine comparison test w/ the new lotus and some other cars and they mentioned the revised rear suspenstion after "too many owners were drving into ditches" Count me as one of em!
Thanks for reading!

Damn, you got pretty lucky missing those trees. I'm glad you're okay.
Now all you have to deal with is replaying the incident in your head about 5 times a day. (I know the feeling)

Sorry for your incident!
Yes, the car has a tendency of oversteering, but it's always the driver's fault. It has happened to me as I spun a 180*, but it was completely my fault.

thanks for posting your exp...glad you are OK
I have come very close to doing that a few times. That new S commercial doesnt lie..."Push the button...if you dare."
This is not a car that drives itself.

Good that you're ok, but please forgive my curiosity when I ask how sharp was the curve? I've taken turns at that speed, but never really lost control. Maybe I'm wrong.
