Default Crappy vid of same late night racing

Some rich kid was talking shit about how his rsx-r swapped base rsx was faster than my s2k . So after a bunch of hype on a local forum I took his ass down in front of everyone. Owned Also ended up racing an auto Ls1 Firebird. It was so close, but he pulled me a bit up top. Wish I had my damn gears in. Civic had a garret t3 super 60 turbo on 7psi.
The race, me(V2, Berk+Invidia)vs. Base rsx w/ Type-R Swap + RH/I/E/Hondata IMG
Here's the crappy vid
s2k vs All

looks like you're a good driver, although Im not a big fan of those rolling starts , but saving your rear end could be a good thing

Yeah I got my comptech reinforced diff with gears sitting here awaiting install. On the two runs that I did launch I launched kinda weak. Didn't want to damage the stock one and lose my $1k deposit. The gears combined with my VAFC should help me jump out better on those 1st gear rolling starts, because I should actually be in VTEC when I punch it now.

If it was a real rsx type R swap with those mods, he would beat u. But that thing was wayyy to slow. Maybe it was an Integra Type R lolll.

He has a k20A w/ tranny, which I believe is the type-R motor from japan. His car was an auto base RSX and has been converted over. I have not seen too many DC5's run 13's without K pro, so I don't know why you think he could beat me. He said he is geting K pro soon. Right now it's a drivers race. Once he gets that he'd probally pull on me. But I've got my VAFC and gears awaiting install, so I'm not worried. Plus I've got a full bottle of N20 if need be just sitting in my garage.

A k20 is type S, and a K24 is a type R from best i remember. For a type s intake, exhaust, header helps a lottt more then if u were to put those mods on a s2000, because the engine isn't too maxed. I think a s2k with exhaust, vs a Type S with I/H/E, is a veryyyyy close race. A type R with those mods will beat you for sure.

k24 is A TSX motor, well me and this guy dynoed the same day. I put down 216whp he put down 194. Both about the same weight. Only advantage he has for now is the 4.7FD. My 4.57's should even things out. When he gets kpro I'm sure it will be a close one from a roll.

USDM Si and Base DC5 = K20A3 160HP 5spd

RSX-S = K20A2 200HP

EURO/JDM CTR = K20A1 200HP 6spd

JDM ITR = K20A 220HP 6spd

a type-r won't do as well with mods as a regular type-s would because it already has a more aggressive tune stock then the type-s, and that's what makes it faster out the gate. in my opinion a type-s ith hondata is like a stock type-r. From a stop we'll kill them, from a roll it's closer but we'd still be able to get them the higher the speeds go.

guys type-r k20 is beast! my friend has it in his rsx type-s(type-r swap) i/rh/e hondata(tuned) and lil bit of weight reduction(gut out everything at the back). i saw he beating 99 svt mustang!(i/e) on the freeway! f20 or 22 makes lil more power but rsx is FF (less trainy lose) so actually better with mods than f series motors!(we lose more hp at the wheel)
