Default Crazy drivers everywhere

In the 2 years I have owned an S I have been pretty fortunate to not have many unpleasant encounters on the road, but I have had a couple in the last 24 hours. Yesterday while driving on a state road under heavy construction (with the orange cones and the works) through a busy part of town, this dude in a what appears to be a hopped up 240z came racing up on my rear end seeming to be looking for action . I have seen this car in town before and although it looks pretty hot and probably with significant mods, the driver is a moron/unsafe driver. I am really surprised this guy hasn't had his car taken away. This morning I had a fellow up the street in his work van decide I wasn't going to get ahead of him on the way to work. He had been following me and was at one point 2 cars behind me. We came to a fairly long stretch with minimal traffic and I went close to redline in 2nd gear, but then dropped right down to speed limit. We came to the next light where 2 lanes turn 90 degree left and there is a single lane of traffic in the other direction. There were probably 25 cars including me just starting to move to turn left. This van breaks out of line and moves into the oncoming lane, passes us all and merges into traffic going left at the intersection. I couldn't see him all of the time and can only wonder if he was running oncomers off the road or what. I guess I lost that race
I really like the S but the negative reactions it gets sometimes is a bit much.

Everyone wants a piece of me (or so it seems) when I am in my S2000. However, I have learned what streets to avoid, and many of the ricers can be by-passed.

I am somewhat of a hypocrite though, because I drive so much more aggressively in my S than our other two vehicles.

I gotta plead the same. I probably was driving too aggressively, although it seemed pretty mild to what I do some of the time. I have been more aware of my own driving behavior since yesterday and I haven't been on the receiving end of any adverse behavior since.
