Default dead even

while i was on my way home from puerto rico last night, i ran into my friend who had just purchased an 05 s2000. we went from a 5 mph roll and it was pretty much dead even. i'd gain about a bumper when he would shift then he'd gain it right back when i would shift. we shut down at about 70.

Me - 2000 S2000, intake, exhaust, test pipe
him - 2005 S2000 stock.

overall i'm actually impressed that i was able to stay neck and neck with him. most ap2s walk ap1s, especially 00-01 years.

interesting me (2000) vs. my dad (2005) both dead stock were dead even from about 20-100. I took the jump and kept him at my rear bumper the whole time.

we are not slouch drivers either both have skip barber and SCCA time

Great EJ. AP2's have shorter gears vs the Ap1.

You do have an intake/TP/Exhaust which more than likely evened the advantage.
