You do have an intake/TP/Exhaust which more than likely evened the advantage.
yes, well ive had the same results with my friend.
HIS07(stock) vs MY01(no tp , ARC intake, spoon n1)

it was a 10mph roll and it was dead even all the way through 3rd.
this is because we started UNDER vtec. if we both lined up and honked it off in vtec, im most certainly sure that i would have pulled away.
i ran a ap2 when i was stock under vtec 25 roll 2nd gear ( ) and he pulled half a car before vtec and stayed that way all the way.

the ap2 is a faster car under vtec. thats a fact. But, you should never be racing from under vtec. 30roll, 48 roll , or just Dig it.

you can start in vtec every time. you need to. the ap1 struggles hard down there.
dont feel too bad you didnt win, just do a proper race next time.

by the way the best 1/4 mile time for any year s2000 is 13.6x.
also, i feel ap1`s have the advantage on the rolls.
MY01 with just work emotion CR 17" (heavy rims) weighed in at 2740.
my friends stock 07 weighed in at 2800.

now i weigh 2680 with my mods and removed spare/tools.

yes, to both you and him.

you guys should well know that you`d get pulled on by ANY car with decent power out there from a 5mph roll.

from a 5 roll (not a set race) i was dead even with a modded mini cooper until end of 2nd.

interesting me (2000) vs. my dad (2005) both dead stock were dead even from about 20-100. I took the jump and kept him at my rear bumper the whole time.

we are not slouch drivers either both have skip barber and SCCA time
Ya its pretty cool to go cutting through some rural roads with the pops in two silverstone s2000's.

the MY05 used to be mine until i sold it to him. now its a garage queen/"play car". about 10,000 miles and never sees rain.

"pops" huh - lol - - That's me I guess - - it is something how close the two cars are - - and it was closer to 120 - - but I'm stock and you have that fancy intake We'll see what's up after your new exhaust.
