Well Ijust got my comptech blower installed and just finished workign out some of the bugs.


Anyways. I had a rematch waiting for me with a buddy of mine.

He beat my stock Ap1 by 6 cars last time.

So we line up and I rev to 5000ish and dump it. Not the greatest launch however I jumped about 1/2 car on him.

Stayed there till the end of 2nd. Then he slowly slowly slowly crept up to my door and past me.

In the end my bumper was at his door.


Had I got the vortec I would have beat him. Oh well.
I'll get him next year when I turn up teh boost. But he's alreayd got his pulley upgrade waiting to go on.

i dont understand why anybody even buys the CTSC. the vortech is the same price if not cheaper and you get 2lbs of boost more to start with.

 

I'm starting to think that myself........


But I was reading and the comptech looked more reliable from reading posts and such.

I ended up paying for the install, so I might have been happier.

But in the end I got the CTSC cheaper than I coudl have gotten the vortec local. So that's why I got it.

 

its not more reliable, its the same exact blower...... just less boost.


Vortech > comptech....
