1st of all, these sorts of questions come up all the time. People who are obsessed with the '04 vs pre-'04 ----- which is better, which is faster? All it would have taken was a bit of a search to get all sorts of replies on the subject. Most of us consider this sort of question as "frivolous" after it gets asked a gazillion times.
Besides, look what day it is.

BTW, how was the Viper when you had it? Why did you get rid of it. The new SRT-10 got alot more refined now where its a bigger copy of the S2000 with the Z4 top and the red start button. I have to admit its not much of a daily driver.

My best friend works on a performance shop that specializes on the Vipers. They have a couple of supercharger kits for it. One from Paxton using the Novi 2000 and a custom twin supercharger.

They have a brand new painted Competition Coupe for sale as well. Its the white one with graphics to the left on website picture. Tell em john sent you if you have any questions.

Here is their website

Nice, but I bet the New S2000 with a Flux Capacitor powered by Duracell could beat that

In Sports Compact Car the pre 04's dynoed at 203 whp, the 04's did 210 whp. On most tests that I have read the 04's are a few tenths faster to 100 mph. Not huge increases, but as they say more driveable on a daily basis (fatter, more useable torque curve).

What reviews are those? I have not seen any that showed an increase for the 04's. You figure a few tenths to 100 would also mean a few tenths in the 1/4 mile ... another thing that seems unchanged.

Well the changes that cannot be argued is that now is a 2.2 and has more torque. did I mention the interior is more refined?
