Dodge Viper Coupe Stunned
I was rolling down the highway on my way home from Crystal Cove this morning and ended up at a signal with 4 lanes each direction. Over two lanes was a white Dodge Viper coupe with a young guy and his girl friend. He didn't see me roll in on the opposite side of a truck. When the light changed I zipped up to sixty mph and I could hear him punch it. He got all bent out of shape and was all pumped up to race after that.
At the next light I was behind him and he took off hard. When his back tires hit the white line of the crosswalk they just spun and smoked. I had to get off it or I would have plowed into him.
A few miles and a few lights later we ended up side by side in a good place to kick it. The light changed and I short shifted to second at about 10 mph. At about 25mph we both punched it. It was side by side for about a second then I hit Vtec + boost and pulled him a full car length. I stayed ahead of him in third. I shut down at 85mph and I was still a car length ahead.
He blasted by a couple seconds later but by then it was over. 
Owned. He is probably still wondering what the heck that little black car was. Wait until he finds out it's only a four banger.
