around here 95% of the cars are stock or only intake/exhaust, in Cali. it seems to be the opposite, well done

That must have been an old viper. You would need 400+rwhp to pull a viper made in the last 6 years or so from down low. I have raced them many times.

In his other post... shift beeper.

Awesome setup. Love the sleeper look. The wheels aren't any worse than OEMs....

Nice run...if u were in 2nd at 25mph and punched it he must have short shifted too. Those Vipers are torquey as hell and monsters down low.
With an aircraft engine of 8L V10, yes, it's supposed to have torque.

I also think the Viper short-shifted into 2nd or even 3rd because he underestimated the little black car.

Given a proper run, I think Sideways' S2K may be able to hang with one regardless. It sure sounds like a low 12-sec car.

A viper pretty much rockets off regardless of what gear youve got the damn thing in. I thought the Z06 was a torquey bastard-the viper is ridiculous.

Phil's car is one of a kind.

I'm eager to know what that thing runs in the 1/4 mile -

My best guess is, with traction, he could run low 12's.
