ya, but when your dealing with 2.0 liter 4 bangers peak is we have.
So? You told me you can increase AVG hp and THAT! is what matters on ANY engine when it comes to performance. AVG hp in-gear will trump peak hp any day of the week. I am simply validating that a Header LOOKS! to be a good investment after you do all the other stuff and not just a peak-number sales-gimmick.

What is this I have heard about a Megan header or something? It's something like $1500?

I did not know the S came with a header. my fault.
if my S hadn't come with a header from the factory, i A) would have been pretty pissed and B) wouldn't have been able to drive it home.

all cars come with "headers" from the factory.

mugen, toda, amuse etc. just make expensive aftermarket headers. seems like they make mild mid range gains. they usually weigh a good bit less than the stock header. sometimes they will increase the temps under your hood though as the stock set up insulates heat quite well in that area.

I'm not impressed with name brands unless it's Aston Martin or higher. Any cars under $100k are held to the same standards in my mind. And when it comes to Porches, the Boxter is trash.

I wouldn't have a problem driving and even PAYING for a new Boxster S or Cayman S. In fact, after I'm done paying and modding the S I think a CS as a DD will be in the works.

295hp @ 2800lbs doesn't sound too bad, and they are sexy.
