I know a fair amount about 240's. The best mod for that car, as we all know, would be dropping in the SR20DET. By the way, nice job in making your name JDM, just don't put a 180SX sticker on your car. PREVENT RICE!

Now when are the tuner companies going to develop a turbo that runs 25 PSI in our S2000's?

I used to own a Sentra SE-R with the first ever swap in of a factory DET motor from a Bluebird.

( I say I was the first because Jim Wolf from JWT said they didn't have an ECU that could run that combination because they'd never come across one).

I ended up using SDS Programmable FI on the car
( http://www.sdsefi.com ) , but never got around to getting it running optimally. Anyhow, it was fast enough to pull on an LT1 on the highway til about 125 when the drag really started to become a disadvantage...

I've heard of SR20DETs in the S13s making 350hp...

you can make your own turbo kit, and beef up the internals accordingly, and some tuning. might need to re-sleeve the blocks for 25 psi..

can someone explain to me what the compression ratio is?

also, are the s2000 hardtops like a car with a roof or is it still a convertible chasis? thanks.

Pretty much for a Linked miata...but the 5,8psi HP #'s can be had with the usual AFPR,J&S or MSD,and HP fuel pump.

Probably he "snickered" because the TEc'ed cars make better power, like 230+ @ 8 psi.

I'm a linked car.

I own a 240sx Ka24de-T compliments of NSPORT Racing.
I have a fully built Ka24de about 5k and a 3k turbo running on 22psi I have run 10.40's. The sr20det is a great motor ,but nopt as good as the Ka24de. The low end tq on the Ka24de is far past that of the SR20det. I am aiming at 500 rear wheel hp. So far I have accomplished 412rw hp.
