E36M3 vs S2000
i signed up just to view the pics (bored at work).
WTF?????? you trying to be a professional photographer or something? hahahaha...jk....they look cool dude! i like the way you used the background to add some life to the pics. i hate just looking at the cars, esp if the background is ugly (like trash behind it, etc).
the car looks very clean! how many miles were on it when you got it? i want a project car and i'm still trying to decide. thanks for the pics!

LOL, thanks.. You know how it is when you get a new toy, and you get all into it taking pictures of the thing... Got it with 37k on the clock. Paid $25,900. It would definitely make a kick ass project car, but since it's my daily driver, I'm keeping mine a bit civilized...
that sounds like a great price (although i must admit my experience with used m3's are VERY limited).
SUPER CLEAN.....<sigh>...i wish my S was. lol
so, are your nieces saving their lunch money to buy you something from vortech in december? haha

Yeah it was a pretty good deal. Since the release of the E46, there are some great deals on the E36 cars... I promised the Girlfriend that I wouldn't spend anymore money on mods until after New Years, but I have been able to slip the occasional bolt on by her... The other day I took my car in for an alignment, and ended up with an X-brace installed...
LOL.....nice!!! i wish i could slip some mods in too. my gf said "you want the turbo, wait for the house first and no bolt-ons inbetween". hahahaha all i could say was "duh, ok"
i need an x-brace!!!! now i'm thinking about it again....ughhhh! thanks cravnpup <sarcasm>
haha

oh yeah, since you're taking my word for things....<ahem>. i would like to start by saying that i raced a heavily modified Z06, with my top down and a keg of beer in the trunk. i totally BLEW THE DOORS OFF IT!! to understand how easy this was for me, i was getting a bj at the time too!!!!
ok, this was a bit much, but it sounds nice!
ps...."road head" is the best! average drivers should not attempt this though...very distracting.

So how did your GF get over the damn middle console to give you a BJ? That is the only thing I don't like about the S2K.....

My friend has an '95 M3. We went out for a drive today and I have to say that from a roll it's definitely all about who gets the jump. We went at it a couple times. First time I started behind him but had the jump on the accelerator and pulled up to his front bumper or so before we shut down (started at about 45). Second run I was behind him again and he got the jump and I couldn't catch him (started at about 30). In the past we've run from 70-80-90 to 120ish and I'd beat him consistently...I think the s2000's 4th gear is very solid. But from lower speeds it's really a tossup. We've never gone off the line though. Better off really because I'm not a huge fan of dumping the clutch at high rpm. Did that a bit too much...these s02's are just about done after 6 months
The E36 M3 is a great car. I have oodles of respect for that machine. It's a great match for the s2000...probably one of the best matches I've found.
