I just got my S2000 two weeks ago, and I was driving north on PCH to take it on the Mullholland highway, and I got popped. Cop was CHP, and claimed he caught me at 74. He wrote the ticket for 70 in a 55. Given that I'm always 1 point away from loosing my license, I need a fool-proof method of getting out of tickets. I've known people that have had great luck with the 11-99 foundation ( http://www.chp1199.org ). You donate $1500 for a lifetime membership, and they give you a license plate frame, membership card, etc. Has anyone had any luck with this at all? I've had some friends mention that it significantly reduces your chances of actually getting ticketed.

 

YES, it works, one of my friends got pulled over. The CHP told him just to slow it down next time
$1500 is worth it, especially if you have a SC in your stook

 

I think it might reduce your chances of getting a ticket, but it would really suck if they gave you a ticket anyways.

I'd be pretty upset if I donated money to them and still got a ticket.
