holy crap this thread blew the **** up lawl
i have a X, first thing i did right after the break-in was a tune, because the factory tune was choking the car up top. after the tune by itself (no mods whatsoever) i gained 50whp. the car was still slow as shit but at least it keeps up with a Z4M (my brother's car) from 40-120mph
like aforementioned the Xs are dogshit without a tune. If it's a stock car with bolt-ons the stupid rich factory tune might get leaned out a bit and produce a bit more power, but one datalog and you'll see the AFR/timing/etc. will be all over the place and the car will be slower than turd.
regarding the loud turbo spool any open element intake filter would amplify the turbo spool by 5 trillion, and the stock blow off noise will be quite pronounced.
even a full bolt-on healthy X that makes 350whp is slow lawl, the damn thing weighs 35xx lbs or something.
le sigh. anybody want to buy my X?

I'm sure some posters will chime in and point out that revving your engine to redline and dropping your clutch is a really bad idea that will not make any difference in a roll race.
