I was riding down I20 minding my own business when a nice looking 350z passed me by... He had on a nice looking body kit and an exhaust as far as I could tell. I don't know what else he might have had. I decide I would see if he was up for a race and pressed a gas pedal down a little more to catch him as he was going faster than I was at the time. Well, as I rolled up near him he steps on the gas before I could even get even with him so I down shift (cruising in 5th) to 4th and step on it. Right now I was playing catch up and when I started to pass him he let off (some traffic was coming up ahead). We played it cool for a second as we went through/pass the traffic and then hit it immediately after wards... This went from a 70 mph punch to 160 on the speedo at which time I was probably around 3 car lengths ahead of him and leaving slowly. I have to admit when I passed him his car did sound pretty mean/nice but make no mistake the Evo is able to hold it's own top end... Oh yea, this was with both of my front windows down and his up for all you aero freaks.

I'm guessing not... those EVO's are a little lethargic on the big end.

The EVO does max out at 160mph, but whoever is dumb enough to do that while racing another car, and the guy in that other car just happened to have the balls to take his car up to 160 also.....i dunno sounds pretty ridiculous.

 

I believe the Z has an electronic limiter at somewhere around 153 mph, maybe that is when he pulled...
