Supercharged s2000's = the lame. 5 grand for a paxton/vortech blower for a 13.4? Thats still slower then a stock evo. Have some respect for yourselves and keep the drivetrain stock. Your cars werent made to go fast in a stright line and it takes WAY to much money to make them do that.

That my freind is a VERY ignorant statement!!!First of all the supercharger kits do not sell for 5 grand,i got mine for $3700 polished
Secondly they go faster than 13.4.I personally made one pass without a launch and turned a 13.1 @ 109,and my short time was only a 2.2.A high 12 is just a launch away.I would love to run a mildly modded mitsu or sti.Perhaps ill have my chance but im not going to pm people to set up a race. And finally youre on a s2k forum so try and keep youre bashing to youre self or to other forums!

VTEC is not a form of FI. I was just saying if they both were NA it would be like the S2k racing a base model civic.
With all things being equal (boosted s2k vs boosted evo) the S2k is better. IMHO. Comparing boosted vs NA cars is an "apples to oranges" comparison. Oh...and dont get me wrong...the EVO is a great car for the money
But think about this for a second.....people are comparing a race between two engines of the same displacement, one with boost, the other NA. I would hope the boosted car would have the advantage and would win. But for some reason....the EVO's, STI's and SRT-4s all think its something to beat the S. Just another reason why the S2k is such an over-achiever...IMHO. Even with the boost the S is a worthy opponent! All hail
f20C (and f22c) the great!

this is deja vu, as i've just had this discussion with another gentleman from another thread on here about this
![biggrin.gif](https://www.s2ki.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
it's like saying the c6 is an impressive machine against the Evo, but take away 4 cylinders and 4 extra liters of displacement and see how the Evo fares....
supra TT is a great car, but the n/a is slow as balls, thus a 350z is better than a supra TT since it's also 6 cylinders but it's quicker than a non-turbo Supra...
FI is not some magical formula that's difficult to manufacture; it's just as specific as the f20c's high compression, 9000 rpm redline, etc
btw i have a IX and s2000
![hello.gif](https://www.s2ki.com/forums/images/smilies/hello.gif)
and i've raced my stock s2000 against a stock vortech one, damn thing was pretty quick
