Default Evo vs Supra

Lol, I might keep my car after all Well on my way to work today I was getting on the freeway and I get on the onramp there was a Silver Supra getting on as well. Ive seen this guy around before and the car looks intimidating. It has some sort of body kit on it, rims, fmic, and exhaust that I could see. When he got next to me I noticed a "Nomura" decal on the sideskirt. Bruce Nomura is a local Supra tuner who has tuned some amazing Supras, one I seen at his shop a while back was making almost 700 whp and smog legal (in CA thats saying a lot)

Anyways, I was getting kinda nervous They pull up and give me a thumbs up and wave. Then he starts blowing off, so I downshift to 4th we hit it at the same time and to my surprise hes not pulling. I had to brake because a car in front of us, so I get behind him and we go around a couple cars, I manage to get in front of him. I was maybe 4-5 cars ahead of him then I see him coming, I downshift to 4th and floor it, I stopped his pull then shifted to 5th, when I shifted to 5th he gained about 1 car, I thought ok hes gonna catch me now since I figured he was heavily modded. I took it up to about 160mph and he didnt gain on me at all, just that one time when I shifted to 5th. I start slowing down and he gets next to me and they both look kinda puzzled and wave and give me a thumbs up. I waved then exited the freeway. Well that was my first Supra encounter (well actually second but first one I was stock and only went through 2 gears) The car is sweet and sounded pretty mean, I was thinking maybe it was an auto? Would that slow it down that much? Im gonna have to see if I can talk to him one of these days. Well thats it...Thnaks for reading

Heavily tuned Supras are almost always auto. Very good for a roll because it reduces traction issues greatly.

^ No not exactly. 6 speed Supras are generally better from a roll than autos.

Auto is good for the 1/4, and 6spd is good for highway rolls.
