Default Exclusivity

Hey guys, future S2000 owner here. Probably by the end of the year. One factor that is important to me is the relative rareness of the S2k. I live in the west palm area (lake clarke shores for the locals) and had to travel to orlando on wednesday for business, about 170 miles one way. While I was driving, I decided to keep track of all the cars I have either test driven or considered purchasing. Below is a list of the cars I encountered on wednesday on my trip up to orlando and back twards home on thursday.

Corvette 32 (2 of them ZO6's)
BMW Z3 28 (3 of them M roadsters)
Porsche Boxsters 17
Audi TT 2 (1 roadster/1 coupe)

S2000 2

Its important to note that I saw none on the trip up and that I saw the S2000's within 2 minutes of each other about 5 miles from my home on I-95! They were both red by the way and were both seen between Forrest hill blvd and Palm Beach Lakes BLVD. Exclusivity.....Imprortant to me....and just another of many reasons why I'll own an S2k THIS YEAR!

How many Yugos did you see on your trip? If exclusivity is that important, maybe you should go that route.

Also, any of the cars from you list, painted Lime Green would increase their exclusivity. Tip: Buy a blue car from your list and repaint it Lime Green (a very exclusive color combo).

BTW, Take a look at the following link. It could change your mind about buying an S2000.
Be exclusive, buy an S2000

Exclusively Yours,

Not many Lime Green Yugo's with a big block chevy stuffed in them, maybe that's the way to go.

Part of the reason why there are so few of our cars is that we all keep crashing them. Well, that and we are probably hiding at the racetrack.

I see more S2000's (and 911's) around Bellevue Washington than Z3's.....

What the hell does exclusivity get you anyway?

Some of us enjoy being different. Kind of like being "outside the box". Perhaps the closest anyone of us will be to owning an exotic and if we add a turbo even closer. You really have to experience it to understand it.

I've been called "different", my whole life. I wasn't always sure it was a complement.

Is that different enough for you? And I really did experience it.

2,400 lbs soaking wet,
302 CI/425 HP (Engine dyno),
3rd place, SoCal Region SCCA 5 litre TransAm, 1969 and 1970.

From kramnosnip's post, I got the impression that he was speaking of "Brand" exclusivity (hence the list).

kramnosnip,

I wasn't trying to kram no snip up you bum, just having a little fun. Certainly didn't mean to offend anyone.
