guys, your car is only two years old. My brother bought his Miata in 91. People thought that it was a new Porcsche. Nooooooo.

I have found out that in my 4 years of adult life ( I don't really consider anyone grown until they can drink AND pay for thier own roof) that people are too busy to really give a damn about what car you drive. they notice you at the stoplight and think "nice car" and then by the second stoplight, they are on to something else. this is Honda's 2nd or 3rd sports car in their history and John Q. Public does not associate Honda with sportscars. Give them time to see more and they will accept.


the Z3 was hard to mistake thanks to Goldeneye. the Miata has gone 7 years without a competitor under 40,000 dollars. In the last 2 years two new roadster have sprung up. It's a bit much for someone who isn't into cars to keep up with.
