Ok... here's the story...

Ran into my ex-gf and so she took me by surprise as she did a ricer fly-bly.. calls me up and says, "you got smoked"........its ones of those gf's you don't want to remember and to make it better her current boyfriend is with her and he owns a ws6 trans.

So i call her up and set up another race in the "back-roads" where no ones really goes. Both races she starts before me and you can see how hard I pull in 3rd gear.

Her current boyfriend has the video and still says that the 350z with a 200lb passenger can still pull on the s2k on streetfire.net........which is

anyway....first race I slip in 2nd gear, then gain half a car, she can't handle the curve so she lets off lol. Last race same but i catch up and pull on her.

there's another one on here with TJs S2k vs an 04 but he had gears so it seems right.
and this 350z ran a E/T 13.7 at 104mph i believe.........all she had to do was stomp on the gas. So i believe the out come is about right?

Those things are dogs. 3.3 FD instead of 3.5 FD plus different gearing in the tranny and slow shifts. Race a manual!

And I would agree that it would pull you with no passenger. Didn't even look like you pulled her with the passenger. In the second run you inched and then she inched back.

 

but do you agree that she did a 13.7 on the quater mile?

See they ran nitrous but hid it pretty well. i've raced a 06 auto and beat it. So I thought that this would be ez but it wasn't. Plus her boyfriend told one of my good friends that they had nitrous in the Z but when i asked him he claims that he never put it in.

makes me ponder.....they didn't even let me look under the hood. As you can see in the video the cars were shot at 2 different places.

 

It could have Nitrous but 13.7 is possible on an Auto 350z and even has been done bone stock.


What track did she run that at? If she had a shot it would be small because I Z can trap 104mph. If she had a 75 shot even that trap would be at least 108mph

2004 350z AT and 2006 350z AT have the exact same motor.

What gear were you starting in? She is either jumping you, on a small shot, or you are starting out of the powerband. You should be jumping out from the punch.

 

hmm... ok maybe i just need to take on a manual and see for myself.

also the second race as i said i slipped in 2nd and at the end when i shifted into 4th it was more of a 3/4 throttle cause of the curve.

edit: also i remember that I tried to launch and bogged horribly on that 2nd race. 4 runs and he recorded the shitty ones.

 

oh by the way.......I'm stocky 230lbs.

 

She didn't run nitrous. Trust me. At higher speeds, nitrous makes you GO FAST(look in my sig). Even though autos are slow, she had test pipes and some other things. In those cars, they actually help out alot unlike ours. If she didn't have the passenger, she would have crept away.

Also whats a S22C-AP1 engine? Lol. That guy who made the video FAILED.
